We sell for lots of big shows and sports events where demand for tickets is extremely high. Getting tickets isn't all down to luck though – there are a few things you can do to give yourself a better chance...

 

Create a Ticketmaster account in advance

If you don't already have an account with us, create a brand new online account before the tickets go on sale. This will allow you to store your address and credit card details, so you don't have to rush to type them all in when you're trying to book.
 

Check your passwords and billing details

If you already have an online account, check that you know your password and all your details are up to date before tickets go on sale. If you've forgotten your password, don't worry, there's an option to have a new one emailed to you. Please also make sure your address is correct if you’ve moved house recently. If you're signed up to Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code, make sure that you know your password before tickets go on sale.
 

Never load our site in more than one browser window

Only have our site loaded in one window in your web browser – things can get extremely messy otherwise, and you might end up losing tickets you're holding as our website will only allow you to make one booking at a time.
 

Make sure that you’re using a steady internet connection       

If you lose your internet connection during booking for even a second, if you’re part way through a booking you may have to start over and search for tickets again, so it’s best to make sure that you’re using a reliable connection. If you’re using a mobile, you may want to try using Wi-Fi rather than 3G/4G, just in case you lose signal.
 

Avoid camping on the event page before tickets are released

If you sit on the event page waiting for the timer to count down to zero before an event goes on sale, it means that the page will then need to refresh when tickets are released so that it can update for you to begin your search, which might slow you down. Waiting on the page before tickets are released doesn’t put you into a queue, so there’s not really any need to do this!


Don't refresh your screen

Stick to one window when you’re being pushed through the virtual queue and always resist the urge to refresh. Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game.

Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is actually doing something and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

If you need accessible seats, most of the venues we sell for have the facilities to deal with any specific requirements you may have. As we're not based at the venue, most theatres and arenas prefer to make bookings for accessible seats with you directly - they know their venue inside out, so they can make sure your seats are suitable and answer any questions you might have.

How To Make A Booking With the Venue.

Most theatres and arenas prefer to make bookings for accessible seats with you directly. Just run a search for your event or venue and click the accessible icon for all the info you need to contact them.

Online

We'll sell accessible seats online wherever possible - the info will be available through the accessible icon or displayed on the main sales page.

Request Form

If we're selling tickets for your event but they're not available online, there'll be an accessible ticket request form for you to complete. This comes straight through to our accessible sales team and they'll give you a call or send you an email within 72 hours.

Please keep in mind that this is only a request, so it doesn't guarantee that tickets will be available. If the event you want to go to is less than 72 hours away it might be easier if you give us a call. Our number's 0800 988 4440 if you're in the UK or 00 44 161 637 2697 from anywhere else.

To gain access to the presale, you need to register on Live Nation and then log on at the time of the presale. The option to buy tickets will then become available to you.

Presale tickets are the same as those available in the general sale, they are just available earlier while few customers are trying to book. There is usually a limited number of presale tickets to make sure enough tickets are available for the general sale.

Ed Sheeran will be touring the UK in May and June 2018. With shows taking place in Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, London and Cardiff. 

Please note: To make sure that the tickets get in the hands of as many real fans as possible the person attending will need the card used to make the booking with, a copy of the booking confirmation, and a copy of the booker's photo ID. That means that the lead booker can purchase these tickets as a gift for a relative or friend but must provide the above to make sure the tickets can be used. A photocopy of the above would be accepted too. If you don't have the requested details the person attending will be refused entry and a refund will not be issued.

What do I do if my card has expired or been replaced?

If you no longer have the card used to make the booking please just take the new card you have as ID as well as your photo ID.

What do I do if I’ve booked the tickets as a gift?

If you’ve booked the tickets as a gift for friends or family then you need to give them a copy of the booking confirmation, the booker's payment card and the booker’s photo ID. A photocopy will be fine too.

When will we receive our tickets?

Big Green Coach Info!

Foo Fighters have announced 3 stadium gigs in 2018. 

The gigs will be taking place at the following venues:
Manchester Etihad Stadium on the 19th June 2018.
London Stadium on the 22nd and 23rd June 2018. 

Ticket Dispatch

No tickets will be posted out for any of the gigs.

For some events we are able to send the tickets out as Ticketfast etickets. This allows you to print off your tickets and not have to wait for them to arrive through the post or forward the tickets on to a friend.

Due to the nature of some events the tickets aren't available to print until closer to the event. This is because we are still looking at a few final details with the event organisers, so your tickets aren't quite ready yet. We will email you to let you know the tickets are available to print, but we will update the details here when you can print them.

We're so sorry, these events have been cancelled…

As announced by the event organisers, Peter Kay’s 2018 & 2019 Live tour has been cancelled. We’re so sorry for the disappointment this may cause.

We've already issued a refund for your tickets, so you don’t need to take any action - you'll see a credit onto the card you used within 10 days. Please note we’ll be refunding the cost of the tickets and all associated fees.

We're sorry again for any disappointment caused.

I haven't had my refund yet - what should I do?

Once your refund has been processed on our side there can be a few days in between before it's claimed by your bank. Please allow up to 10 working days after the event was cancelled for the refund to appear on a statement.

Please note that the delivery fee may refunded as a separate transaction for some venues. Don't worry as the fee will show in your account soon if it doesn't already.

If you still don't see the credit on your statement by that point, please double check which card you used – we'll always refund the original card you booked with.

Why am I being charged a handling fee for paperless tickets.

Even though we're not physically posting a set of tickets to you, there's still a lot going on in the background for us to provide the paperless service to you.

The order processing fee covers the cost of installing and maintaining the hardware and software at the venue so your Paperless ticket will be recognised, including wireless scanners for every member of door staff. It also allows us to develop and maintain our own technology to make sure you have a simple, straight forward experience getting into your event.

Iron Maiden Information


With these tickets the cardholder must arrive together with the rest of the party and actually be attending the show. Unfortunately, if you can't arrive together we are unable to make any alternative arrangements for you. We can only advise that you make arrangements for you group to meet before entering as once the cardholder attends no one else will be allowed in if they arrive later. To get in on the night you’ll need to take:
  • Your confirmation email
  • Government-issued photo ID (such as a driving license or passport)
  • The original payment card used to book the tickets

What if your card has expired?

Even though your card has expired, you’ll still be able to use it to get in as it will still match the details on the paperless system – so if you can, please keep hold of it!


If you’ve already destroyed your old card, but the new one has the exact same 16 digits, you don’t need to do anything and you can just use the new card to get into the show.

Disabled Access

All disabled access customers MUST purchase a standard event ticket first (including additional picnic ticket,if required) for themselves at the time of on sale – you do NOT need to purchase a PA ticket. See below.

Frontgate lets customers book tickets and have more control over their booking by letting customers edit their address if they move or adding a shipping, or if you have booked tickets on a deposit scheme to update your card details if the original card has expired.

Arctic Monkeys will be the touring the UK in September 2018. 

Please note: The surname of the Lead Booker will be printed on all tickets. The name cannot be changed once the booking has been made. Where more than one ticket has been purchased, each guest in the party must arrive with the Lead Booker at the venue on the night of the show. Failure to do so will result in the guests being turned away. To gain admission to the concert, the Lead Booker must bring the tickets & a valid photo ID matching the Lead Booker surname on the tickets. Seat of Luxury Toilet Tickets
No tickets are being sent out for this. Just take your proof of purchase and some ID. The Seat of Luxury team will confirm the booking and issue you a Seat of Luxury access wristband. 

Locker Tickets
Weekend Lockers are provided by Lockerhouse, who will send an email 7 days prior to the event with details of how to use the lockers at the event, no locker tickets will be sent out in the post. Customers who are camping will only have access to the lockers situated in the campsite area and not the arena.

Car Park Tickets
If you are driving to Download you must purchase a pass for parking. Charges are at £20 per car and £10 per motorbike. A limited number will be available at the site but prices haven't been confirmed yet. 
Parking tickets will be sent out with your festival tickets.

  • The face value of each ticket
  • The service charge for each ticket

Face Value
This is the base cost of your ticket, set by the event organisers – we're not involved in deciding the price, but it's usually based on the costs involved in presenting the event.
 
Service Charge
This is the only part of the booking that we keep – the face value goes straight to the event organisers. These charges help us to cover the costs involved in running our website and booking line. There are all kinds of things going on in the background – not to mention paying our hardworking staff who keep the cogs turning! The service charge can vary depending on the event – we agree the amount charged with the venue or promoter, based on the costs involved in them putting the show on and us organising the tickets.
 
Order Processing Fee
This is usually one charge for the entire order and covers the cost of processing the booking from beginning to end. This means securing your order and delivering your tickets, whether that's by post, box office collection or TicketFast.
 
Facility Fee
Occasionally, there may also be a facility fee. This is set by the venue's box office, and we send the fee directly to them – we don't keep any of this charge. The reason for the fee varies, but it's usually there to help the venue make improvements.

Because we're not based at the venue, most theatres and arenas prefer to make bookings for accessible seats with you directly – they know their venue inside out, so they can make sure your seats are suitable and answer any questions you might have.
 
We can either pass your request on to the venue for them to get in touch with you, or we can give you contact details so you can call the venue yourself. A presale is where tickets are released to a select group of people before the general public. Presales are typically made available to members of the artist's fan club, people who've booked previously for a particular venue or customers of a particular company like O2 or American Express – it really depends on the event.
 
Anyone eligible to book during a presale will usually receive an email beforehand, containing a password or a secure internet link which allows access to the tickets. This will be sent directly from the fan club or venue – wherever you signed up for the presale – so we don't have any access to passwords or links. If your password doesn't work please contact whoever provided you with the link and password and they'll be able to issue a new link. We don't have any access to the passwords and can't issue new ones.
 
If you're looking to access the presale for a particular artist we'd recommend checking their official website and keeping your eye on the media for details about upcoming tour dates.
 
Please note that if you are unable to book in a presale that tickets are always limited availability and have access to the presale never guarantees tickets. How do I add items to My Basket?
Once you've selected tickets, just click the Remember for Later button at the bottom of the review or delivery page.
 
Why isn't the Remember for Later button there on every event?
If you don't see the Remember for Later button, it's probably because it's a really popular event that's just gone on sale. Tickets for those events go really fast, usually in the first few minutes, so there won't be anything left to remember for later! It's best to buy those tickets there and then to avoid missing out.
 
Can I edit stuff in My Basket?
You can't, but you're not stuck with them either – click the Find Different Tickets link on the left and you can search again. The original ticket selection will stay in your basket, so it's a great way to compare prices!
If you want to change the delivery method or remove, add or change the quantity of other items (parking, t-shirts etc) click Get Tickets and make your changes before paying.
 
Can I remove events from My Basket?
You can! Just hit Remove This Event to the left of the event name. If you have second thoughts, click Keep It.
 
Do I need an online account account to use My Basket
You don't – you can use My Basket without an account, but when you click Remember for Later, your selections and other stuff will only be saved on that computer.
If you want the freedom to view your basket on any computer, you need an online account. 
If you already have a My Live Nation account, you can sign in what that email and password on any computer to view your Ticketmaster shopping basket.
 
Why am I being asked to re-enter my offer code or password for tickets already in my basket?
If we're asking you to unlock a password protected offer again, it's just because you’re not signed into your account, so we don't recognise you.
 
Why has my event disappeared?
If you can’t see an event in your basket any more, it's most likely that the show's already been and gone.
Or, if you don't have an online account, you may lose events in your basket when we periodically delete anonymous data from our system. We have to do that every so often to keep our website running smoothly.
 
Why did the price change after I added tickets to My Basket?
Ticket prices are set by the venue and event organisers, who may occasionally decide to change the pricing depending on demand or other factors. We don't control ticket pricing because we don't own the tickets we sell – we're just selling them on behalf of the venue and event organisers.
 
Why is the delivery method I added to My Basket no longer available?
If the delivery method (standard post or UPS) has disappeared from your basket, it's most likely because it's too close to the event and there isn't enough time for us to get the tickets to you in that way.
 
Why is the special offer I added no longer available?
Discounts are quite often limited-time offers, so it might be that time ran out while the tickets were in your basket.

Are you accessing Ticketmaster through a direct internet connection, or are you using a proxy server?
Some online service providers use a proxy server. Proxy servers save copies of sites on their server rather than connecting users to the internet or the specific site requested. In most cases, this works fine, but using a proxy server might prevent you from booking tickets because you need to access our ticketing system directly. Your localised newsletter gives you deals specific to your area, but you can always check out the Ticketmaster Offers website for deals in other regions. Or you can change your email preferences in Settings to include all regions.
 
How can I change my location?
You can change your location under My Settings in the top right of the page. If you can't see it, it’s because you didn't click the Remember My Location box when you signed up. To fix this, you'll need to unsubscribe from your emails then sign up again, remembering to make sure that the box is ticked.
 
How many discounted tickets can I buy at once?
You can book as many tickets at a time as you'd usually be allowed through Ticketmaster – it really depends on the event.
 
What about big groups?

Can I buy a ticket deal as a gift?

Are you signed into your online account?
It's always best to make sure you're signed into your account before starting a booking. The checkout process has a time limit and we know that some of you don't book through us very often, so it's a real pain when you've chosen your seats just to be timed out when you can't remember your password.
 
Is your billing information up to date?
It's a good idea to make sure your address and credit card details are up-to-date before you start booking. You don't want to get all the way through just to fall at the final hurdle when you can't find your card to put the new details in!
 
Have you got our website open in more than one window?
Please only use one browser window at a time to hold tickets. We have systems in place to stop automated programs from booking up all the tickets – this means that if you try to hold 2 sets of tickets at once in separate windows, the seats will be released.

Why are these tickets a higher price than tickets on the main website? Are these re-sale tickets?

No these aren’t resale tickets. Platinum tickets are being sold for the very first time through Ticketmaster. The prices are adjusted according to supply and demand, similar to how airline tickets and hotel rooms are sold. The goal is to give the most passionate fans fair and safe access to the most in-demand tickets, while allowing the artists and everyone involved in staging live events to price tickets closer to their true value. 

Do I get anything else with my Platinum tickets?

Platinum Tickets aren’t part of a package, so the price you're paying is just for the tickets – there aren't any added extras or VIP/hospitality elements to the booking.

When are my tickets going to be dispatched?

We aim to post Platinum tickets 7-10 days before the event, unless we tell you differently when you book. If you haven’t received your tickets by 48 hours before the show, please click here to contact us so that we can help.

How are my tickets delivered?

It really depends on the event – we may use standard post, secure post or box office collection. If you live outside the UK, it’s likely that you’ll be offered box office collection, as we may not be able to get the tickets to you in time through the post. Can I change my delivery address after booking?

When you're booking on our website, you select your tickets first. Then if you're happy with them, you can go on to fill in your billing details and complete the order. This whole process takes a few minutes, so while you're doing that, those tickets are actually held for you, which means that no one else can access them. If someone selects tickets but then decides they don't want them, or they don't complete the booking in time, the seats will be released to give someone else the chance to book them. 
 
...a few days after tickets go on sale?
Sometimes, a customer may try to book tickets but their credit card is declined. The tickets are sometimes held for them, and we'll try to get hold of them to take payment. If we can't get hold of them after a few days, we'll release the tickets for someone else to buy.
Other times, with really popular events there is a ticket limit in place. If a customer books more than they're allowed, we're asked to cancel any extra tickets, and they'll be put back on sale.
 
...a few weeks before the event?
We might get another allocation of tickets to sell as the event approaches. This can be for a couple of reasons – the event organisers may have originally been holding tickets for their own use, which they no longer need so they're released to give someone else the opportunity to go instead. Or they may realise that more seats than expected will have a full view once the stage layout has been confirmed and tested.
 
It's important to remember that we can't offer any exchanges once you've made your booking, so please make sure you're happy with the location of your seats before you book!

If you’re trying to book tickets and you get the message “No exact matches were found”, this means that the tickets you were looking for aren’t available at the moment. If you’ve searched for tickets in a specific price level or area of the venue, it could just be that we don’t have any availability in those areas, so we’d recommend widening your search by choosing “Best Available”.

 

Sometimes, it may mean that there are no tickets available at all at the moment – with really popular events, tickets can sometimes sell in minutes. For O2 Priority and SSE Rewards presales – are you logged onto the correct website?

O2 Priority and SSE Rewards presales are only open to their customers. To access the presale, please make sure that you’re logged into your O2 Priority or SSE Rewards account, then follow the link from their website.

 

Are you following the correct link?

Presales can very rarely be accessed via the main Ticketmaster.co.uk site – as they’re only open to a limited group of people, you’ll usually need to follow a specific link. If you’ve received an email letting you know about a presale, please make sure you’re following the link provided. If you’ve logged onto the main Ticketmaster.co.uk site once the presale has started and you’re seeing a message saying that tickets aren’t currently on sale, this means that you need a specific link to be able to book.

 

Are you seeing a message that says “Sorry, no exact matches were found”?

If you’ve got as far as searching for tickets and going through the CAPTCHA where you have to enter a security word and then you see a message saying Sorry, no exact matches were found, but other tickets may still be available - this means that the tickets you requested aren’t available at the moment.

 

If you searched for tickets in a specific area, try searching for “Best Available” instead, or change the number of tickets on your search. If you’ve tried all of this and you’re still getting the same message, it’s likely that we don’t have any more tickets available at the moment.

 

Don’t forget, when an event’s really popular tickets can sell very quickly. Having access to a presale doesn’t guarantee you tickets, it just gives you the opportunity to book before it’s opened up to the general public. We’ll always try to send as many tickets as possible by standard post, as we know you’d prefer to keep costs as low as possible. We’ll only ever send your tickets by secure post if we’re not able to replace them if they were to go missing somewhere on their way to you.

We know it can be frustrating to receive an error message when you're in the midst of purchasing tickets-particularly when you're vying for popular tickets to hot events and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused. Below we've explained possible causes for error messages and how to avoid them in future.


Cookies and Graphics
Your browser must be set to accept cookies and graphics in order for you to purchase tickets from Ticketmaster. Make sure your computer is set to accept cookies and graphics before you try to make a purchase.

Make sure nothing is blocking your browser from accepting cookies, which will also block Ticketmaster from placing your seating information in your computer's temporary memory which is necessary to purchase tickets (See Cookies and Graphics section).


Proxy Servers
Problem: Some online service providers, such as AOL or Prodigy, use a device called a proxy server. Proxy servers save copies of sites on their server rather than connecting users to the Internet or the specific site requested. In most cases this works fine.

Solution: Using a proxy server might prevent you from purchasing tickets because you need to access our ticketing system directly. If you do not know if you are accessing the Internet through using a proxy server, contact your Internet service provider.

Access Ticketmaster through a direct Internet connection and not through any service using proxy servers.


Transaction No Longer Active
Problem: This error is caused by an interruption to the transaction process. During the ticket buying process, our computer or your computer lost access to our ticketing systems. Receiving this error means that your request did not make it to the ticketing system.

Solution: Please resubmit your ticket request and try again.


Too Much Time Has Elapsed Before We Received Your Information
Problem: This error is caused when the ticketing system releases your seats because the transaction took too long. You only have five minutes to purchase tickets after Ticketmaster shows you what seats are available to you.

Solution: A slow Internet connection may cause this error. You might try disconnecting and then reconnecting to your Internet provider to improve the speed.

Please resubmit your ticket request and complete your order within five minutes.


Sorry, we are unable to fulfill your specific request.
Problem: This error appears when, at the moment you submit a request for tickets, the ticketing computer can't find the number of tickets you requested in any one place. If you checked for a single seat and got this message, Ticketmaster has probably sold out of its allocation for the event. However, you should check back on the site from time to time, as new seats may become available.

Solution: If you selected more than one seat, try decreasing the amount. You may also want to try a different seating area or select "best available" to see if there are seats available in another section.

Ticketmaster Auctions aren't quite like other online auction sites. Our auctions allow our venues, promoters and artists to sell tickets directly to fans, at a fair market price. When you bid on tickets, you'll be deciding for yourself how much you'd like to pay to attend the event.

How are seats assigned?
 
The main difference with Ticketmaster Auctions is that there can be more than one winner for the same auction. However, you're not bidding for specific seats – just for tickets to see the show. The seats will be allocated to you later, based on how high your bid was.
 
All seats up for auction are ranked by the event organisers according to how desirable they think they'll be. At the end of the auction, tickets are assigned to the winning bidders based on those rankings. So just as an example, the person with the highest bid would be most likely get seats towards the front, and those who bid less would be further back.
 
How are auction bids ranked?
 
Bids are ranked by the amount per ticket. If two people bid the same amount, the tie breaker will be based on when the bids were placed – the earlier bids will rank higher.
 
Do you offer Proxy Bidding?
 
We don't – if two customers bid the same amount, we'll do a tie breaker based on who bid first, so it would be a bit unfair to allow proxy bidding. This means you'll have to watch closely to make sure you're still winning, and rebid if necessary.
 
How much will I pay?
 
The bid amount you enter will be the amount you pay per ticket if you win. Your card will be charged when the auction closes. The price breaks down to:
  • Your bid amount per ticket
  • Delivery price
  • Order processing fee
The one exception to this is for Uniform Payment Auctions, where the price per ticket is equal to the lowest winning bid in your ticket group. A Uniform Payment Auction will always be clearly labelled on the auction page.
 
Can I change my address or card details once I've submitted a bid?
 
Unfortunately you can't – once the bid’s been submitted we can't edit any of the billing or shipping information.
 
I've changed my mind – can I cancel my bid?
 
Once you've submitted a bid it can't be cancelled, so if you win your card will be charged. Please be sure to check the details carefully and be sure that you're happy to pay the amount before bidding.
 
When will my card be charged?
 
Your card will only be charged if you have a winning bid when the auction closes.
 
How can I keep track of my bids?
 
We'll always try to send you an email if your bid isn't winning, but there can sometimes be delays – to play it safe, it's best to keep an eye on your bids through your online account. Just log in and choose Current Auction Bids from the menu on the right.
 
Can anyone take part in an auction?
 
To be eligible you need an online account and a credit or debit card that has a billing address for the same country that the event will be held in. The card must also pass the bidding authorisation process...
 
This is where we check that the name, address, post code and CIN number you provide match those registered with your card. If they don't match, you won't be allowed to place a bid. Please also keep in mind that your card's expiry date must be at least one week after the auction closes.
 
How many times can I bid?
 
As many as you like! If you rebid from the same account, it will be considered your new bid and your previous bids will no longer be valid. If you have more than one bid pending in the same auction because you've used different accounts and credit cards, then you may win more than one set of tickets. Check the Auction Terms for more details.
 
How do I rebid?
 
Easy! Just go back to the auction homepage, select the number of tickets and the amount you'd like to bid, and then hit the Place Bid button.
 
How do I get accessible seats through an auction?
 
Each individual venue has their own procedure in place for booking accessible seats. Go to the auction bid page and click on the accessible seating button for more information.
 
Why am I seeing £1.00 charges on my card after bidding on an auction?
 
To take part in an auction, your card has to pass pre-authorisation. During the pre-authorisation process, we use a £1.00 charge to check your bank and validate the billing address, your identification and that your card is active. If this validation passes, your bid is accepted. Every time you attempt to get your card through pre-authorisation, a £1.00 charge will appear on your account – this is just temporary though, so we don't actually collect the charge. Any £1.00 pre-authorisation charges will be removed from your transaction activity within 5-10 days.
 
When will I receive my tickets?
 
They'll be sent out to you using whichever delivery method you chose, once your credit card has been authorised for payment by your bank. You'll receive an email confirming that the payment has been taken, along with your seat details and delivery information.
 
Why am I being blocked from taking part?
 
This could be for a couple of reasons:
  • Your card didn't pass pre-authorisation and you haven't resolved the discrepancy with your bank yet
  • We've previously had to cancel a bid because of a violation of the auction terms
 
How many tickets can I bid on?
 
The maximum number of tickets allowed will be confirmed on the auction bid page. You can't have more than one valid bid at a time on the same credit card number or Ticketmaster account. Any ticket limits applied to the presale or general sale don't apply to tickets booked through an auction. Take a look at the Ticketmaster Auction Terms for more details.

The producers of HAMILTON are determined to combat unauthorised resale and to protect patrons from having to pay highly-inflated prices. Therefore, Delfont Mackintosh Theatres will be operating a new paperless ticketing system, HAMILTON Paperless Ticketing, powered by Ticketmaster, which will prevent computer programmes (‘bots’) from harvesting vast amounts of tickets to make available for resale at inflated prices.

No traditional tickets will be issued in advance. The payment card you use to originally purchase your tickets will gain you admission to the theatre on the night.

When you book, you’ll receive a simple email confirmation as proof of purchase. This is not a ticket. Upon arrival at the theatre, you’ll be required to present your original email confirmation, your original payment card and a Government-issued photo ID such as a driving license or passport as proof of ID. The cardholder must be present and attend the performance.

The theatre will then swipe your card to produce seat location slips which gain you and your party admittance into the auditorium. All members of the party should enter the theatre at the same time.

I can’t find my original confirmation email. What should I do?

What if my credit card expires before the performance?

Even if your card’s expired, it can still be swiped on your way into the theatre as normal, so please keep hold of the original card if you can.

Can I give tickets as a gift or issue a Letter of Authorisation for someone else to attend?

Unfortunately not. Hamilton is operating a Ticketless admission system designed to limit the transferability of tickets in order to prevent touting and the unauthorised reselling of tickets at inflated prices. If we allowed people to transfer tickets, it would create a flaw in the reason why the system was adopted.

If you have tickets but your circumstances change, contact us up to 48hrs before a performance and we will cancel and refund your booking subject to a cancellation fee of £3.00 per ticket.

Can I cancel or resell tickets which I can no longer use?

The reselling of any HAMILTON ticket is strictly forbidden. Any ticket offered for resale will be immediately cancelled. Admission by pre-paid credit card of any kind is not permitted. Paperless ticketing means that the link between the ID of the original cardholder and that of the person attending is maintained. Therefore cards which do not bear the cardholder name will be refused admission - without exception.

However, if you can no longer attend a performance for a legitimate reason, please contact us up to 48hrs before a performance and we will cancel and refund your booking subject to a cancellation fee of £3.00 per ticket.

Less than 48hrs before a performance, we can only refund tickets at the producers’ discretion.

Age Restrictions

Since HAMILTON contains some strong language, the show is appropriate for ages 10+. Children under 4 are not permitted into the theatre. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

How long is the show?

HAMILTON runs 2 hours 45 minutes including one 15-minute interval.

My seats are in the Royal Circle – where is this?

The Royal Circle is the first tier of seating above the Stalls – this was originally called the Dress Circle. If you’d like to take a look at a seat map, you can do this on our website here.

Can I make a Group Booking?

Due to the anticipated high demand for HAMILTON tickets, we are unable to accommodate any group bookings during the first booking period.

I need to plan my trip - when will the gig end?

Unfortunately we won't receive any details regarding the runtime until the sound check has been done, which is usually on the day of the gig.

Booking Confirmation

Once you've made your booking you will receive you booking reference number to give us if you have any queries about your booking. You will also get a booking confirmation emailed to the email address you gave us at the time of booking, but this can take up to 72 hours to receive.

Changing Address

If you've not made your booking yet please go on your online account and make sure we have the correct address.

Alternatively, when you are booking we need to take the address that your card is registered to for our security checks. However we can change the address to a non-billing address 72 hours after the booking has been made.

If your address has been changed with the card issuer already and you've just entered the incorrect address, just let us know as soon as you realise the error and we'll correct it for you.

You can search using a single word or phrase, just like you would with a search engine. So for example, if you’re event’s been cancelled, just type in the name of your event and we’ll bring up all the information we have.

Or you can actually ask us a question and our system will give you a list of answers. For the best results, make your questions clear – for example, “when will you send my tickets?” or “what type of cards do you accept?”
